1/ WW1 era. A very rare and interesting photograph of that may well show the "unofficial" relief of Jerusalem in December 1917.

2/ WW2 era. 55 men in INITIAL RAF TRAINING AT RUISLIP , ENGLAND in 1938. 54 of these men are unnamed.

3/ WW2 era. 1943 , 40 plus the new recruits into the famous GRENADIER GUARDS. Many of these men were ex R.A.F. all are named by Surname alone.

1/ WW1 era. A portrait of a Leicestershire Regiment (Territorial) soldier and a copy of an article he wrote after a pilgrimage to the Western Front in 1956.

2/ WW1 era. A group photograph of 20 Leicestershire Regiment (Territorial) soldiers, 19 of the soldiers are so far unidentified.

3/ WW1 era. A portrait of a Leicestershire Reg. 'Company Runner' (messenger) who was K.I.A. There is also a link to a description of the "Runner" and to personal papers concerning this brave mans death.

1/ Circa 1900 ? A portrait of a young soldier, his unit and the exact era is unknown.

2/ WW1 era. An amazing photograph of 40 British soldiers that just has to be seen. All the men are unidentified.

3/ WW1 era ? A portrait of a British sailor who probably lost his life whilst serving as a submariner.

1/ WW1 era ? A wonderful group photograph (taken in England) of the CANADIAN Foresters Band. There are 30 soldiers to be seen in this image, none have been identified.

2/ WW1 era. A single portrait of a young Leicestershire Regiment soldier who was killed in action in 1917.

3/ WW2 era. A group of 8 Leicestershire Regiment soldiers of the 2/5th. Battalion, 7 are unidentified.

1/ WW2 era. A group of 8 Leicestershire Regiment soldiers of the 2/5th. Battalion, the photo was probably taken in Cairo, 7 of the soldiers are so far unidentified.

 2/ WW2 era. Three Leicestershire Regiment soldiers from the same series as No 1. Two of the soldiers are unidentified.

3/ WW2 era. A portrait of a Royal Artillery Gunner who died at the hands of the Japanese when he was a prisoner of war. (Probably whilst being used as forced labour on the Burma/Siam railway.)
