1/ 1920's image of 35 soldiers of the 1st. Battalion the Leicester Reg. 34 are unidentified.

2/ WW1 era ? One soldier. The photograph was probably taken in Aberdeen, Scotland. Is this soldier an Artillery Driver ?

 3/ WW2 era. 26 soldiers, just one identified.

1/ WW1 era. 20 soldiers. The photograph may have been taken in Continental Europe. 19 soldiers unidentified.

2/ Circa 1918. Three WW1 soldiers convalescing in Scotland. 2 Unidentified

3/ WW1 era. Just one soldier of the 8th. Battalion the Leicestershire Reg. killed in the battle of Bazentin Ridge, July 1916. He was just 18 years old. My good friend KEITH SHELVEY would welcome any information.

1/ and 2/ WW1 era. Two photographs, one soldier, a driver in the Royal Artillery Regiment. Please help.

3/ WW1 era. Three soldiers, three ladies. This photograph was taken in Leicester and is unusual as the three men are from different services from the Leicester area. This one is personal to me as these people are family members.

1/ and 2/ WW2 and the post WW2 era. One Leicestershire Reg. soldier, These images are a very interesting and a challenge to us all.

3/ WW1 era. One Leicester Reg. Soldier who served in Germany at the end of WW1. Sorry folks, but this is yet another member of my family !

1/ WW1 era. 46 Soldiers and children of 'Oakham (Rutland, England) Volunteer Training Corps' dated 1915. This was known as 'A' company. None are so far identified. Please do have a look.

2/ WW2 era. Circa 1940. 18 Soldiers, This photograph is of soldiers of the South Staffordshire Regiment. The photograph was possibly taken in the Far East. 17 of these soldiers are unidentified.

3/ WW2 era. Three soldiers, just one identified. But a great follow up response from a visitor to this site.
