John's Father WILLIAM FRANCIS MILLWARD was a Medical Orderly with the Regiment and he can be seen on the back row, centre. Francis Millward's comrades are unknown, and John would like to hear from anyone who might have any information about the photograph or his Father's service with the Regiment.

This group photograph is of Soldiers of the CORPS OF SIGNALS (ROYAL ENGINEERS) and was possibly taken in 1916. Duncan's Grandfather FREDERICK "CHARLIE" ROBERTSON is the soldier far left, front row (kneeling). He enlisted in March 1916 Dunfermline/Cowdenbeath area of Scotland and was with the 31st Signal Corps. His Regimental number was 165746 and was finally transferred to the Army Reserve on 14^th of January 1919. Duncan would like to hear from anyone who can supply any information about his Grandfather's service or his comrades seen in the photograph.
