This photo was most probably taken in the far east and possibly in Burma. Do you recognise any of the group? Can you identify their uniform insignia?

Photo 2WAR (1) This photo-scan was also sent to me by Mel Scott of Heanor, Derbyshire, England . (20 Oct. 1999) From information received from a kind reader of this page, (Dave Watkins) it seems that this soldier was a Bombardier of the Royal Artillery Regiment. This information was made possible by Dave identifying the cap badge and white lanyard on his right shoulder. Can you identify this soldier ?

Photo CADET 1 Please contact Earl Chapman at :- earl.chapman@sympatico.ca

This photograph was taken in circa 1905 and is of a young man who is almost certainly wearing the uniform of the 21st. Lancers. The style of cap worn by the young man was known as the "Broderick cap". He was very possibly a native of Leicester/shire. The photograph was found within an album which belonged to FLORENCE COX who was born and raised in Leicester. Do you recognise this young man? Can you add any information regarding his uniform ?
