This photo is from circa 1907, all the soldiers in this image are of the 1st. Battalion the LEICESTERSHIRE REGIMENT. Standing third from the left is my Grandfather Private WILLIAM THOMAS CAPEWELL (1886-1942) Reg. number 7421. I would love to be able to identify his comrades.

This photo was probably taken in 1917. I have no idea of the location. Some of the soldiers are of the LEICESTERSHIRE REGIMENT , many are from other Regiments. My Grandfather, WILLIAM THOMAS CAPEWELL (Leic. Reg. 7421) is third from the right (laying down). Can you identify any of the other soldiers seen here please ?

This is another great photograph from Mel Scott's family collection. He has no idea of who this soldier was or his Regiment etc. A good starting point for him would be if someone could identify the soldiers uniform. (The uniform reminds me of "perhaps"? the "Boer War" period, but then I am definitely not an expert)Any help with this one would be greatly appreciated.
