Photo DWI 1 Please contact Dave Withers at :- dave.withers1@ntlworld.com

This is what Dave wrote about this portrait. "The attached photograph is of my great Uncle STANLEY HAROLD MOULE a resident of Leicester, England.
He was Gunner 1118278, 88 FIELD REGT. ROYAL ARTILLERY who died on Monday 26th April 1943, Aged 38. He was captured by the Japanese during WWII when Singapore fell and apparently died whilst building the Burma Siam railway. He is buried in the Chungkai War Cemetery, Thailand (Grave Ref 12. b. 13.) This information was gleaned from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission web site which is an excellent source for finding those who gave their lives during world war one and two. "
