Photo CBAR 4 Please Contact Chris Barrett at > cbarr97581@aol.com This is another of Chris's great photographs, and this is what he wrote about this one , " SGT C.F. STAPLETON D.C.M. 1ST BATTALION THE BEDFORDSHIRE REGIMENT.
This photograph was among my late Aunt's belongings. No relation so assume he was a family friend. Somebody out there must be related but I have been unable to trace so far."

Chris knows very little about this photograph but this is what he wrote, "Standing is SERGEANT W.F. BARTLETT, the Sergeant lying down is unknown.. They were of the BEDFORDSHIRE REGIMENT.
Believed to be at BORDON CAMP, HAMPSHIRE, ENGLAND CIRCA 1905."
(I believe that the caps that the two sergeants are seen wearing where "Broderick caps" and were unpopular)

This great group photograph from Chris really is a puzzel, the N.C.O.'s and other soldiers appear to be of different Regiments or units. Four of the soldiers are unidentified. This is what Chris wrote ,

"Seated left is HENRY KAY HANSON, my Great Grandfather. What he is doing in uniform I can only wonder. Looking at the photo he would appear to be getting on in years. I think this was taken at TIDWORTH where he was a telegraphist circa 1900-1920."

Can you help Chris ? Perhaps you recognise one of the soldiers ?
