John Riddler's uniform is a "Driver " of the Royal Artillery or Royal Horse Artillery ? Can you help with a more accurate decription of his unit please? Does anyone recognise this soldier ?

The owner of this photograph, (Ashley Allen) would welcome any information that you may be able to supply. The soldier seen in the centre and immediately above the steering wheel of the vehicle is, GEORGE JAMES ALLEN he was from Northampton. George Allen is the Grandfather of Ashley Allen. Ashley believes that George's Regiment may have been the R.A.O.C. (Royal Army Ordinance Corps.) Please see photo GRP12 on photo Page 8.
